Vishrant Tripathi
Biography
Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering - Purdue University
Vishrant Tripathi is an Elmore Scholar Assistant Professor of ECE at Purdue. His research interests lie in the modeling, analysis, and optimization of networks - with application areas including multi-agent robotics, networked autonomy, federated learning, and edge computing. More recently, he has also worked on software-defined networking and datacenter networks at Google. His work has deeply explored the role of information freshness for monitoring and control tasks in wireless networks, including analysis of computation-communication tradeoffs, systems implementations on resource-constrained UAV swarms, online learning for adaptive scheduling, and the monitoring of correlated sources.
