Christos Mousas

Biography

Assistant Professor of Computer Graphics Technology – Purdue University
Director of Virtual Reality Lab – Purdue Polytechnic Institute

Dr. Mousas's research revolves around VR, computer graphics, computer animation, and human-computer interaction. He holds a Ph.D. in Informatics and an M.Sc. in Multimedia Applications and Virtual Environments both from the School of Engineering and Informatics of the University of Sussex. In his research, Dr. Mousas uses computational tools to design virtual reality experiences and interfaces, and aspects of cognitive and experimental psychology to understand the way humans interact in virtual environments. He is a member of IEEE. In addition, he has been a member of the program committees of several conferences in the fields of virtual reality,
computer graphics, and human-computer interaction.
