CCAT is Named UTC for Focused Research on Connected and Automated Vehicles


In their 2018 annual report to Congress, University Transportation Centers Program has named CCAT the UTC (University Transportation Center) with focused research on connected and automated vehicles. As part of the FAST Act, one of the regional UTCs must address transportation safety, connected vehicles and infrastructure, and autonomous vehicles. As USDOT’s Region 5 UTC, University Transportation Centers Program recognizes the research completed by CCAT and the resources Mcity and the Ann Arbor Connected Vehicle Test Environment. You can read the complete report to Congress below:
