Biography

Professor of Computer Science & Chair of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Sciences – Central State University

Dr. Deng Cao received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from West Virginia University in 2013. He also has two master's degrees in Statistics and Physics, both from West Virginia University. Dr. Cao currently serves as an professor of Computer Science & Chair of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Sciences at Central State University. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision and Biometrics. His research received support from the US Department of Agriculture, the National Science Foundation, and the US Air Force Research Laboratory.
