Daniel DeLaurentis

Biography

Professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics – Purdue University
Director – Center for Integrated Systems in Aerospace (CISA)

Dr. DeLaurentis earned his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering in 1998 at the Georgia Institute of Technology. His research is focused upon the development of foundational theories, methods and tools for addressing system-of-systems challenges. His work advances the science of integration in multiple domains, including Next-generation Air Transportation Architectures, integrated defense/command, and control/battle management, human and robotic space exploration. His awards include Purdue University’s C.T. Sun Research Prize in 2012.
