CCAT Student Bortiorkor Alabi to Receive WTS Chapter Scholarship


CCAT student, Bortiorkor Alabi, has been selected to receive the WTS Chapter Helene M. Overly Memorial Scholarship for 2019-2020, Greater Indianapolis Chapter. This scholarship recognizes a graduate female in the transportation industry and academia. Their goal is to support and encourage future female leaders in transportation to be successful. Bortiorkor Alabi is an MS student working with Samuel Labi in the Lyles School of Civil Engineering and the Center for Connected and Automated Transportation (CCAT). They are also a graduate assistant of Dr. Audeen Fentiman, and a PhD student at the School of Aviation and Transportation Technology working with Dr. Julius Keller. They will receive their award at the WTS Greater Indianapolis Chapter’s Annual Swings for Scholarship event on April 15th, 2020 in Fishers, IN.
